“We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness.
God is the friend of silence.
See how nature -trees, flowers, grass- grows;
see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move...
We need silence to be able to touch souls.”
Mother Teresa

Select a date by clicking one of the buttons next to the date field or by clicking on the datefield. If you click on the datefield itself a small gregorian calendar tool will appear. You can select a new day there.
Top menu

The date will not change until you select a specific day. Changing the month or the year alone won't change the date at all!

You can choose any date that seems to be of any importance to you. Most people choose their own birthday, but it can be any other special day, or just today.

This website introduces oracles that reflect the energies of specific dates.
This is a spiritual oracle which is based on the calendars from the Maya's.
This oracle has no historic value.

Some of the elements used were also used by the Mayan priests, among them were keepers/guardians of time. Most of the people had no way to keep track of the days, seasons, years... However, time was important, they had to sow at the right time of the year, prepare for the cold... The priests and calender systems played an important role in the lives of the people of the Maya's.

For a more historical approach, you can read the works of Carl Johan Calleman.

The Tzolk'in

The Tzolk'in is actively used in Mayan inscriptions and codex. They sometimes refer to names, elements, deities, but most of all they are important marks to a moment or period.

Supposedly the Tzolk'in is also used for ritual purposes, as oracle and the giving of names.

The Tzolk'in consists of a cycle of 260 days, which is the result of a cycle of 13 tones, combined with a cycle of 20 glyphs, which synchronously move.

The 13 tones

The characters of God, the moon energies, the intangible, spiritual.

These also include the steps for creation. Every creation can be done in 13 steps, from initial concept to completion.

  1. Set a goal, attract and unite ideas
  2. View the challenge, the pros and cons and stabilize the potential obstacles.
  3. Connect and serve, prepare to take action.
  4. Shape, define, and capture metrics.
  5. Summon the right people, materials, energies, radiate and reinforce your goal.
  6. If everything is brought together, organize everything so that you have a balanced and equitable distribution.
  7. Inspire each other, attune to the others.
  8. Shape together, harmony and integrity is important here.
  9. Realize the objective, reach the intention.
  10. Go to production, manifestation or perfectionize.
  11. Free the result of the creation so that it can provide solutions in the world and is able to grow.
  12. With the help of more cooperation and dedication it can grow bigger, and get more universal.
  13. The creation will eventually trancend the creator, live a life of its own and just be present.
